Three more Blizzard players commit (updated)

August Anderson (Henry Sibley), Sam Glade (Hudson, WI) and Stuart Baruth (Sioux Falls, SD)commit

Anderson, Glade & Baruth commit to St. Scholastica, UW-Lacrosse and Johnson County CC

OF/RHP August Anderson, a 2015 graduate from Henry Sibley High School has committed to the College of St. Scholastica.  CSS, who has won the UMAC Conference for the past 18 years is one of the top D3 programs in the country ranking as high as #4 in the National Polls.  Last year, they made the NCAA National Tournament.

RHP Sam Glade, a 2015 graduate from Hudson, WI has committed to UW-LaCrosse, one of the top teams in the D3 Midwest Region.

In 2014, UW-L made its second appearance in three years in the NCAA Tournament at the Midwest Regional.  The Eagles finished 26-18 overall and 16-7 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), advancing to the conference championship game for the third straight season.

LHP Stuart Baruth is the 20th player to commit making securing his future with Johnson County Community College, one of the top NCJAA DI programs in the countyr.  Baruth made his mark in his first and only year with the Blizzard program when he threw a CG, 13K no-hitter against MAP baseball followed by a win in the Perfect Game Kernels Tournament against TEAM ELITE, a team that had 17 DI commits.

The JCCC 2014 squad won a record 50 games, captured both the East Jayhawk Conference and Region VI titles, and qualified for the NJCAA JUCO World Series for the second time in the program’s history.
