Blizzard Wins 3 Championships this past weekend

Blizzard 2019 RHP Cam Hunter (Eastridge HS) threw a no-hitter in the Semi-Final Game at the Ripken Tournament this past weekend.

The Minnesota Blizzard Elite teams came off arguably their best program tournament weekend going a combined 41-8 in three separate tournaments in Utah, Las Vegas and South Carolina in age groups spanning from 12u-18u.

This season, the Blizzard (12u-18u) have finished in the top four 19 times including 9 championships and a varsity berth to the Perfect Game World Championships, among the top tournaments in the country.

A huge thank you to the Blizzard coaches who made such a big impact on these players.  Parents, Thank you for your support.  And most of all - the players!  Your hard work, attitude, effort and preparation has been at the Elite level!  Thank you !

Tryouts for the Blizzard Fall and Elite program will be posted soon.  Historically, Blizzard tryouts are the last week of June and the first two weeks of July for ages 10u-18u!  Make sure you 'save the date' when they are posted !

About the Blizzard

The Minnesota Blizzard the most successful traveling and club baseball program in Minnesota and among the top select teams in the Midwest winning 77 national tournaments and placing in the top four 188 times since 2003. 
     
The Blizzard draws players ages 10u-18u from all around Minnesota including Albert Lea to Duluth and also has had several players from the Dakotas, Iowa, Wisconsin and even Canada.

Scout, Blue Jays), and many other top-tier instructors and coaches. 
 
Our Blizzard Baseball Academy, a core part of the Blizzard program, offers individual lessons, strength training and has avenues for our players to participate in showcases, fall leagues and tournaments.
 
It is one of the most well-respected programs in the Midwest and has garnered attention from KSTP 5, Kare 11, ESPN 1500, Fox9, Channel 6, the Star Tribune and the Upper Deck Report among others.
