This year is #NewBlue and there are some pretty great changes in the Blizzard program !

Blizzard Fall Elite Season 2020-2021

As our Blizzard 'summer' season is getting underway, our Blizzard Elite Fall season is approaching with tryouts coming up in July (dates below).

We have made some changes to our Blizzard Elite program for the upcoming 2020-2021 Fall and Elite season.  These changes are based on what is best for the program this year, our annual survey, player input, our Blizzard Big 5 and our Blizzard Program goal to provide the best development, competition and exposure that the Midwest has to offer.

There will be full details very soon, but this is a quick snap shot of this year's program.

This is .... #NewBlue

With the uncertainty of travel this winter, this winter season will be a completely separate program this year - Blizzard Elite Winter Only.  More information will be released on this program, but here is our potential destination for our winter teams.
  • Perfect Game Fall Nationals (October in Florida)
  • Desert Fall Classic (October in Las Vegas)
  • Perfect Game MLK Championships (January in Arizona)
  • Treasure Coast Presidents Day Challenge (February in Florida)

You can assume that next year's (2021-2022) program will be back to 'normal' with the hope that COVID is gone and our travel arrangements will not be dictated by this virus!

Blizzard Elite / Fall Tryouts 2020-2021

The Minnesota Blizzard program (9u-18u) has been designed to aggressively assemble the most dedicated and elite baseball players in the Midwest.  Our program's goal is to create opportunities for all players by way of quality instruction, league play, national tournaments, developmental, college consultations and exposure to the college and professional ranks through showcases and recruiting profiles.

Competing in tournaments since 2003, the Minnesota Blizzard has placed in the top four 235 times including 98 tournament championships and has produced over 350 college and professional players including:  Logan Shore (Florida), Sam Carlson (Florida) Ryan Boldt (Nebraska), Alex Call (Ball State), Matt Fiedler (Minnesota), Joe Loftus, (Vanderbilt/Diamondbacks), Mike Strong (Milwaukee Brewers) and Madison Boer (Oregon/Twins).
