The Blizzard will play 15 games (schedule below) after a full day of spring training at the IMG complex.  You can watch the games on the IMG channel LOCATED HERE.  You can also watch updates on our Twitter and Instagram.

IMG Academy, a private high school based out of Bradenton, FL is a sports mecca offering several sports to aspiring athletes as well as a high school education.  Their baseball complex, which includes batting cages and four baseball fields, a mini infield and a main stadium field draws comparisons to many MLB Spring Training facilities.

"We know the Blizzard program is a top-rated program with several high-end players," IMG Director of Baseball Operations Dan Simond said.  "We have received nothing but positive feedback regarding the quality of program and their players."

This is the second time the Blizzard program has headed down to Bradenton, but this year has a different twist.  Two underclass teams including a 2024 and 2026 squads.

"We are very fortunate," Blizzard Baseball Academy owner Adam Barta said.  "and owe a lot to IMG for the invite as well as our 2021 class who helped get us back here.  If we weren't as competitive as we were last year, I'm not sure this year happens."

"Our guys will play hard, for each other and show a lot of respect for our host.  I'm excited to train, compete and play for four straight days.  We are taking nine coaches down for three teams so our guys will have that college and pro experience that some teams don't have in club baseball."

Simonds echoed the excitement about the week coming up.

"IMG is excited about a weekend of baseball with the Minnesota Blizzard," Simonds said.  "This event is going to benefit both organizations in so many ways.  Our coaches and players are looking forward to the challenge of facing quality, well-coached competition."

"At the end of the day," Barta said.  "We are extremely grateful to IMG and their staff for hosting us.  We are very fortunate."
