Adam Barta delivered his opening speech, thanking our parents, players, and coaches for another incredible year. His message centered on gratitude and the power of our community—the foundation of the Blizzard culture.
Then came a moment that had the whole room dialed in: a senior speech by 9-year Blizzard veteran and Iowa Central commit, Colin Fike. Colin shared a couple of his favorite Blizzard memories, thanked the coaches and parents who shaped his journey, and left younger players with his best advice- "Enjoy the moment, boys. Don't be in a rush to grow up"
To cap off the ceremony, we rolled out a fall season and senior class recap video—produced by our Social Media & Marketing Director Bryan Sanchez. It highlighted the hustle, heart, and unforgettable moments of this past season.
From the awards to the laughs, from the wiffle ball swings to the words of wisdom—this day reminded us why we do what we do. Blizzard isn’t just a baseball program. It’s a big family. A commitment to the Blizzard Big 5. A place “where the best get better.”
