Minnesota Blizzard 14U Blue went undefeated (5-0-1) at the Prospects May Classic, pulling off an epic 10-run comeback in the semis and exploding for 13 runs in the championship. Let’s rewind to that moment — the semi-final. Down 10-0 after just one inning to MASH National 14U Maroon, things looked bleak. But then, the Blizzard bats woke up. A couple runs here and there and a final  7-run 5th inning leveled the field, and they tacked on the go-ahead run in the 6th to pull off one of the gutsiest comebacks in recent memory.

From there, it was championship mode activated. Facing MASH National 14U Black in the final, Blizzard Blue erupted for 11 runs in the 3rd inning and cruised to a dominant 13-2 win, leaving no doubt who owned the weekend.

 

This was more than just a tournament win — it was a statement. 14U Blue showed what Blizzard Baseball is all about: resilience, power, and playing for each other. And after a weekend like that, one thing’s for sure...
