Blizzard is proud to welcome Coach Lindsay Spanton as our Director of Softball Training. This winter marks the launch of Blizzard Softball at the Blizzard Academy, and we set a high bar: deep game knowledge, strong leadership, and a track record of developing athletes- Lindsay brings all three!

Playing Career Highlights (Augustana University, SD)

• 2014 (Senior): First Team All-NSIC, NFCA All-Central Region Second Team, Academic All-NSIC; .366 AVG, .702 SLG, 12 HR, 49 RBI, 16 2B, .490 OBP, .990 fielding, nine-game hitting streak.

• 2013 (Junior): NSIC All-Academic, .401 OBP, team-high 347 putouts, .992 fielding.

• 2012 (Soph): Started all 64; 19 doubles (team-high), .351 AVG, 6 HR, 38 RBI.

• 2011 (Fr): Daktronics & NFCA All-Region (Second Team); 11 HR, .650 SLG, 48 RBI; clutch RBIs in the Central Regional title run.

This Winter at Blizzard Academy
Coach Spanton will lead Softball Hitting and Softball Pitching for 11U–14U and 15U–18U athletes. Training emphasizes efficient mechanics, smart workload/arm care, and steady, measurable progress-our Blizzard Kaizen philosophy.

Lindsay brings a wealth of experience and passion to our program. Her knowledge of the game, strong leadership, and commitment to developing young athletes make her an incredible addition to our staff.
