Blizzard Elite vs. Team USA at Athletic Park in Chaska, MN

Since 2012, the Blizzard Elite Baseball program has played a full summer program playing in some of the top tournaments and against the best competition in the country.  Our primary purpose is to assemble the most competitive roster possible to play in great and well-run tournaments.

The Minnesota Blizzard has an experienced staff full of veteran coaches who have been in the program for several years to help develop, compete, practice and help players learn the valuable lessons of our Blizzard Big 5 - our values that we run our program by.

A bi-product of putting the best players together and playing top-tier competition in great tournaments is the recruiting piece to our program.  Since 2008, our first graduating class, we have had just over 375 players move on to college and have had 58 players who have either been drafted or signed as a free agent including 2017 grad Sam Carlson (Mariners, 2nd Round), 2016 grad Michael Busch (Dodgers, 1st Round), 2016 grad Logan Shore (Athletics, 2nd Round) and 2016 grad Alex Call (White Sox, 3rd Round) to name a few.

Our goal is to help players navigate the process, give them insight on what it takes to play at the next level, and ultimately help them bridge the gap with college coaches.  That means making phone calls, taking video, helping them with their personalized Blizzard profile and help them learn how to make the right decision with consultations with both the players and parents.

Our tryouts are being held at the Blizzard Baseball Academy on February 2nd and I would like to see you there!  You think you got what it takes?  I'd love to see you show us your stuff and earn a spot to play with the most successful club program in the Midwest - the Blizzard Elite Baseball program!

In Baseball,

Coach Barta!
