Current Team: 14u Black
Here is what you need to know about Bryan Sanchez. In 2013, he didn't make the Blizzard team he was hoping to make and he asked me if he could stay an extra practice here and there and prove me wrong. We had practice 4x / day every Tuesday and Thursday for a month. That's 24 extra practices he stayed for to prove that he could do it. Needless to say, he proved me wrong and was moved up. He IS the example of hard work, dedication, determination and sacrifice and those attributes rub off on every player he comes into contact with. Both our younger and older players in our program are very lucky to look up to him as a leader both on and off the field.
Sanchez serves many roles at the Academy including Marketing Manager, Blizzard Performance Director, Academy Instructor and Blizzard Coach. He started his college career at Southeastern CC and Century College where he was a member of the 4th place NJCAA DIII World Series team. He finished his career at St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN where he was a standout hitter and outfielder.
