Isaiah Lufkin is a longtime member of the Minnesota Blizzard Baseball Academy, bringing over a decade of coaching experience and a heart for mentorship to the program. A Blizzard alum and former catcher and first baseman, Isaiah played his collegiate ball at Waldorf University, where he helped lead the team to the 2016 NASC Championship. He currently serves as a Program Manager with the JP4 Foundation, expanding his reach as an educator and community builder.

Isaiah has been coaching baseball for over 10 years — all with Blizzard. As a primary youth Blizzard coach, he combines structure, compassion, and accountability to help players grow both as athletes and individuals. “As an educator, my philosophy with every player is to teach them the values of commitment, integrity, and hard work,” he says.

Originally from Rosemount, MN, Isaiah graduated from Rosemount High School and spent five years as a Blizzard player before returning to give back to the program that shaped him. He has also coached at Two Rivers High School, further deepening his experience in youth development.

When he’s not coaching, Isaiah enjoys unwinding at the cabin with his family and getting out on the lake. With his wealth of experience, steady leadership, and passion for building character, Isaiah remains a cornerstone of the Blizzard coaching community.
