Jack Setterlund is a proud Blizzard alum and emerging coach who brings energy, humility, and a deep love for teaching to his second season on the Minnesota Blizzard Baseball Academy coaching staff. A sophomore at Concordia St. Paul and a middle infielder by trade, Jack blends his current college playing experience with a thoughtful, player-first coaching approach.

Jack played with Blizzard for four years before graduating from White Bear Lake High School in 2023. He aims to pass along the lessons he’s picked up from both his playing and coaching journey. “I try to show players the things I learned growing up — helping them become better athletes and people,” he says.

Though relatively new to coaching, Jack’s connection to the program and active playing career give him a rare ability to connect with athletes on a personal level. He chose to coach for Blizzard because of how much the program gave to him as a player — and now he’s committed to giving that same impact to the next generation.

Off the field, Jack enjoys spending time with family and friends, going up north, and playing basketball. His energy, empathy, and commitment to player development make him a promising and impactful member of the Blizzard staff.
