Two leading Minnesota baseball organizations are now teaming up to bring you an affordable, high-energy three-day baseball camp on the beautiful Reynolds field at the University of Northwestern!
The Rising Stars Baseball Academy, part of Minnesota Youth Athletic Services is partnering with Blizzard Baseball Academy to provide a superior baseball experience. Whether you are stepping on the field for the first time or you are a seasoned veteran looking for a mid-season tune-up, this camp has something for everyone.
The Minnesota Blizzard have been the most successful team from Minnesota on a national level and serve as a great partner for Rising Stars and the baseball community. Each camp day will have an action-packed practice place that will help players improve!
The Rookie level group (6u-8u) will go through a series of games designed to learn the basics of baseball, enhance their skill level, and most importantly have fun playing the game!
For the savvy vets (9u-13), drill work and skills games will put players in a game-like, competitive atmosphere.
Throwing
Players will learn a proper warm-up and throwing progression.
Infield / Outfield
Players will learn the fundamentals of both infield and outfield play, including proper footwork, glove work, mindset, and preparation!
Hitting
Drill work centered on balance, hand-eye coordination, quick hands, and lower-half work will be used to help players prepare for the season!
This camp will feature a mix of top instructors from both the Rising Stars and Blizzard Baseball academies and former players as coaches. We look forward to seeing you out on the field!
