Speed | Agility | Quickness

Purpose of the Program

Our spring speed, agility, and quickness (S.A.Q. Program) is meant to introduce athletes to general S.A.Q. training and the proper body movement patterns that will maximize speed, agility and quickness. This foundational program is a perfect segue into our Max Performance program where athletes will combine weightlifting and more intermediate-advanced S.A.Q. training all throughout the summer.

*This is not just for baseball players. ALL athletes who play ALL sports can benefit from this program!

Program Instructors

Bryan Sanchez

Bryan Sanchez, earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth. He played varsity baseball and played with the Minnesota Blizzard club program all throughout high school. Bryan competed in collegiate baseball, spending his first two years in Junior College and eventually finishing his collegiate and academic career at St. Scholastica. He completed his degree in Biology with the intent to pursue a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies. However, he chose to stay in the baseball world and joined the Minnesota Blizzard baseball program as a fulltime coach and instructor. Bryan has a passion for developing athletes both physically and mentally on the baseball diamond and in weight room.

Nikolay Petkov

Nikolay Petkov, LPTA, CPT, graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Although his career began in physical therapy, Nikolay completed a sports performance internship at the Training HAUS, where his love for training and working with athletes seemed predestined. Prior to joining the TCO/Training HAUS team, he worked with various high school strength and conditioning programs in the metro area. He is excited to use his combined knowledge of sports performance and physical therapy to develop athletes into their true athletic potential while keeping injury prevention at the forefront.
